    You know spring is on its way when the first snowdrops poke their heads up. This Galanthus Flore Plena is also known as the Double Common Snowdrop for its nodding heads of double petals in white with green tips.

    These blooms also have a delicate scent and hold an RHS Award of Garden Merit as well as being recognised as an RHS Plant for Pollinators. Its flowers provide a welcome source of nectar and pollen to insects early in the season.
