Mentha Spicata 8.5cm

Mentha Spicata, more commonly known as Spearmint, has a gorgeous spearmint scent to its lance-shaped leaves in a tall, branching habit. Spearmint will grow up to 100cm tall and produces spires of tiny, pale purple flowers during the summer.

It is so loved by bees and pollinators for its nectar and pollen rich blooms that it has been recognised as an RHS Plant for Pollinators. This mint will grow happily in pots - and this is possibly the best option otherwise mint has a tendency to take over entire herb gardens - so why not grow a container full on your doorstep or patio?
