Lavender is a welcome addition to any garden with its classically fragrant blooms and foliage. Lavender blooms usually come in shades of purple and blue, with the odd white or pink variety as well. Lavender usually forms a bushy shrub which is great for planting low hedges, edging and for borders which will attract a buzz or pollinators to their blooms. Drying the blooms and adding to potpourri is a classic way to prolong your enjoyment of their fragrance.
