Guzmania Diana 9cm

This tropical plant has an infectious effect on its entire environment. Guzmania belongs to the Bromelia family, which also includes Vriesea, Aechmea and Tillandsia. The most striking thing about Guzmania are the brightly colored bracts that grow from a beautiful rosette and together form a funnel, although other shapes are also possible. The rosettes contain suction hairs and suction scales, with which the plant absorbs moisture and nutrients.

Special flowers bloom between the bracts, and although tiny, they are a bright yellow colour.
