Pyracantha, also known as Firethorn, provides glossy leaves and thorny branches that bear brightly coloured berries in autumn. It is a great host for wildlife.

Pyracantha Soliel d'Or blooms clusters of small white flowers in late spring, followed by glossy bright yellow autumn berries. Grown as hedging, a free-standing shrub or trained against a wall, it provides colour across the seasons, with white blossom in spring, dense green foliage, and a bounty of vibrant berries in a choice of yellows, oranges or reds.
