Juniperus, or 'juniper' is an evergreen conifer shrub or tree, which can vary in size. Their aromatic foliage can range from green and yellow to blue-grey, and many varieties also bear fruit (the Juniper berry - which can be edible).

The Juniper Communis Repanda is a prostrate shrub forming a low, dense carpet of green foliage, which takes on a bronze tint in winter.
