The Ajuga Black Scallop is evergreen creeping perenial with very glossy, dark scalloped leaves. It produces deep blue flowers in later spring to early summer, and the leaves may become even darker in light, colder conditions.
The plant quickly forms a low carpet of rounded, glossy leaves so makes the perfect choice for ground cover in shady borders.
