      • The Mentha Moroccan is a mint variety which will give you a crisp, fresh mint flavour whether you're adding it to salads, sauces or refreshing summer drinks. It produces spires of tiny white flowers in summer which are attractive to bees and other pollinators.

        It will grow happily in pots - and this is possibly the best option otherwise mint had a tendency to take over entire herb gardens - so why not grow a container full on your doorstep or patio? Mint likes well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and when given an ideal spot, it will grow for several years.

        Please note that all our plants come in simple plastic pots unless otherwise stated in the product name. If you wish to pot yours up we do have a wide range of pots to choose from.

      • Grow in poor, moist soil in full sun. To prevent mint becoming invasive, plant in deep containers and plunge these into the soil. Prune back at the end of the season.

        Lift and divide each year in spring, replanting the younger, vigorous sections of the plant in fresh compost. Watch out for powdery mildew (especially during dry spells) and mint rust.
