Instructions & safety
Plant from August onwards, 10cm/4" deep, 10cm/4" apart.Tulips will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage, avoid planting repeatedly in the same location. They like sunshine, but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. Tulips are ideal for beds, borders and containers.
Remove flower heads as they begin to fade. Best lifted when the leaves fade; clean and store until replanting the following autumn. Do not keep the small off-shoots as they will not flower.
