What you’ll need:
Paper or card (preferable blue, but other colours can be used too)
Coloured paints, particularly green
A plate
A paintbrush
A rubber glove (optional)
Step 1:
Pour some green paint onto a plate – this will make it easier to make handprints.
Step 2:
Put your hand into the paint and use the brush to paint any parts of your hand that don’t have paint on them. If you’d like, you can wear a rubber glove to make it less messy.
Step 3:
Make handprints along the bottom of the page, overlapping slightly to make the fingers look like blades of grass. If you have another colour of green paint, you can wait for the first colour to dry and then repeat this step to give your grass more depth.
Step 4:
Once your grass is dry, you can use the paintbrush to add some details. From insects to flowers, the sky’s the limit!
