Craft your own hyacinths

Craft your own hyacinths

These pretty flowers come in all kinds of bright colours and can even be grown without soil! Have fun getting creative by making your own out of paper

Craft your own hyacinths

To get started you'll need:

  •  Empty kitchen roll tube

  • Coloured tissue paper cut or torn into small pieces

  • Greenpaper

  • Scissors

  • Glue

Step 1

How to craft your flowers:

Step 1:

Wrap a piece of green paper around the length of your kitchen roll tube and glue it in place. You can trim off any extra paper and use it for leaves later!

Step 2

Step 2:

Crumple the tissue paper into smaller pieces – these will be the petals. Glue them to about 2/3 of the paper roll

Step 3

Step 3:

Finally, cut two leaves from green paper you have left and glue these to the bottom of each paper roll – these will finish the stems of the flower
