Dobbies returns to Scone Palace Garden Fair
At the end of May, we were incredibly excited to return to the Scone Palace Garden Fair as their headline sponsor, connecting with gardening enthusiasts from across Scotland and beyond, and showcasing some of our favourite products from this season’s ranges.
From 29-30 May, Dobbies joined the event in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace and welcomed around 10,000 visitors over the two days of Scotland’s National Garden Show.
Garden inspiration around every corner
One of our favourite things about the Scone Palace Garden Fair is seeing how so many of you add personality to your outdoor space, and this year was no different and full of inspiring ideas.
Colour was showcased a lot throughout the show, with vibrant flowers and decorative garden accessories to help gardeners create spaces full of character.
We also spotted a lot of wildlife-friendly planting and pollinator-friendly flowers, reflecting the growing trend for creating outdoor spaces that support nature and still look beautiful.

It was great seeing so many faces and helping provide gardening inspiration for your outdoor spaces.
Our decorative garden stakes attracted plenty of attention, including the colourful tulip, dahlia, and daisy designs, as well as our solar-powered flower stakes, both of which you can find in-store at your local Dobbies. They offer an easy way to add interest and personality to your outdoor space.
We also showcased our new favourite topiary animals, available in cat, dog, and teddy bear shapes, bringing charm and whimsy wherever you place them!
These simple additions are a great way to add height, texture, and personality to your garden without taking up valuable planting space.
Gardening tips for spring
Alongside our great range of decorative products, many of you were also looking for practical gardening tips that combine functionality with beautiful design.
Our Green Team joined us at the Palace and demonstrated how to create a spring planter with our thrillers, fillers, and spillers technique. This is where you choose three plants at varying heights and textures and then planting them in one pot to add colour and depth to your garden.
