January – Daffodil (Narcissus) January

Daffodil (Narcissus) ‘January’ is one of the earliest flowering daffodil varieties, blooming as early as January - hence its name. With a compact flowering height of around 25cm, it’s ideal for borders, rockeries, and containers. Despite its delicate appearance, it’s surprisingly resilient and can withstand cold winter weather, making it a reliable choice for the early months of the year. February – Daffodil (Narcissus) February Gold

Daffodil (Narcissus) ‘February Gold’ is a much-loved variety that has stood the test of time - and for good reason. Dating back to the 1920s, this Daffodil is one of the most reliable for early spring, often blooming in February. With a neat 25cm height, it's perfect for borders, containers, or naturalising under trees. The golden-yellow flowers have a distinctive look, with swept-back petals that give them a lively appearance. Hardy and cheerful, it’s a wonderful way to brighten up the garden as winter fades.

March – Daffodil (Narcissus) Arctic Bells

Daffodil (Narcissus) ‘Arctic Bells’ is a delightful newer variety, registered in 2019, and already winning hearts with its unique charm. Often called “petticoat daffodils” for their flared, skirt-like blooms, ‘Arctic Bells’ brings a fresh and quirky twist to the spring garden. With a compact height of 25cm, it's especially well-suited to pots and containers, where its dainty proportions and eye-catching flowers can be appreciated up close.
