Making your own compost at home is a growing eco-friendly garden trend, and the Eco Hive Composter offers a stylish alternative to standard bins. Designed in a traditional beehive shape, it is made from sustainably sourced, slow-grown softwood from responsibly managed forests. Its 45-litre capacity and open base encourage heat build-up, speeding decomposition. Dual-opening lid folds back for easy access when turning compost or harvesting from the lower hatch. Narrow side gaps allow airflow while keeping rain out, and angled timber boards conceal waste while improving ventilation. The wooden structure helps regulate heat and moisture, supporting efficient composting. The open base also allows worms and microorganisms to enter freely, improving breakdown and producing high quality compost.
