How To Create a striking foliage centrepiece

Christmas

To create a timeless centrepiece, you will need a large houseplant pot, a Spathiphyllum houseplant to act as your base, large Palms, Ferns or any kind of foliage you can forage from your garden, dried florals and Strelitzia gold stems.

  • STEP 1
Take your large houseplant pot and place your Spathiphyllum in the centre as this will act as the base for your display, covering with compost to support and hold into place.
  • STEP 2
Next step, take your large Palms and start to place them around your Spathiphyllum, using Ferns and other pieces of foliage you’ve managed to forage from your garden, making sure to fill any large gaps. Top tip, a weekly mist will help keep your centrepiece looking brighter and healthier for longer
  • STEP 3
Once you’re happy with the overall shape, start to add in the Strelitzia gold stems, this will break up the greenery base and add more of a luxurious look and feel to your centrepiece. Remember, this is a showstopper so the more extravagant, the better.
  • STEP 4
Lastly, add in your dried stems for an added texture
  • STEP 5
Now place on top of your bar trolley or dining table and surprise your friends and family this year with the most stunning, homemade centrepiece
