Broad Beans Bunyards Exhibition Seeds produce great yields of white beans and are a reliable longpod variety. They're suitable for freezing, helping you to preserve these delicious vegetables for longer.
They produce large, well formed pods containing 6-8 large white beans each. The packet contains approximately 50 seeds.
Planting & care instructions
This product will come with any relevant warnings please read carefully before use.Preparation & usage
Sow outdoors from February to May and October to November or indoors from February to April, ready to harvest from June to August. For indoor sowing, sow in pots of moist compost, one or two seeds per pot. Cover with 2.5cm of fine compost. Firm gently and keep moist.
Seedlings appear 10-21 days. Stand outside for a few days from April (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in a zig-zag pattern in wide rows 60cm apart. For outdoor sowing, sow in wide double rows 60cm apart with 15cm between seeds. Space in a zig-zag pattern.
Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Plants may require support in exposed locations. Seeds should not be eaten. Store out of reach of children and pets. Always read the instructions before use.
