      • Heavy item, please take care and wear gloves when handling. This product will come with relevant cautions.

        Natural quarried products always carry an element of dust on all materials. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the aggregate once laid, or leaving the dust wash away over time with rain fall.

      • - Prepare the ground by uprooting any weeds and vegetation, then level the surface.
        - Lay a landscape fabric over the surface to supress weed growth and allowing water and air nutrients to permeate the ground. This helps to maintain healthy and fertile soil underneath.
        - You will need to lay the membrane to a depth suitable for the type of decorative stone you are using. We reccommend a depth of 35-40mm, but this will depend on the size or type of the decorative aggregate used. Please refer to our online calculator if you're unsure how many bags you'll need to complete your project.
        - Once your gravel or chippings are down, use a rake to create a flat and even finish. To help reduce movement and to further enhance your outdoor space, edge with larger stones,or create a border with timber or stone edging.

        Please note that all images on our website show the product wet and dry after the material has been washed. Due to the nature of these products, Decorative Aggregates will vary in size and colour, some significantly.

      • In order to offer you an extended range, including specialist items, Dobbies arrange for certain products to be delivered direct by our approved suppliers. Delivery in these cases will be managed directly by them, but we will do whatever we can to assist you in the event of any concerns.

        Altico aim to deliver within 10 - 14 working days (Mon-Fri), but there is no delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Islands, Jersey or Guernsey available for this product.
