Acer Palmatum Ryusen is a compact, weeping deciduous shrub or small tree. It provides palmate, mid-to bright green leaves divided into deeply-cut leaflets turning orange-red in autumn.

Tiny green flowers in spring are followed by winged, red seed pods.
