40L Miracle Gro All Purpose Peat Free Compost

Miracle-Gro Peat Free Premium All-Purpose Compost is part of the high-performing Miracle-Gro peat-free range.

Containing a unique formulation that will ensure your plants are fed for 3 months, this peat free compost provides the optimum structure for roots to grow strong and preventing them from drying out.

Our unique combination of 14 minerals include N, P, K and trace elements, which are essential to maintaining plant health, meaning your plants grow stronger and healthier.

Hollow wood fibres ensure the optimum balance of air and water in the soil, so it doesn’t get too dense or waterlogged, ensuring the space for healthy, strong roots to grow. Absorbing up to 25% more water than ordinary compost, our Aquacoir Technology means that plants stay happy and hydrated.

How to use:
For containers and baskets: Place a layer of compost in the base of the pot. Tap out the plant from the old pot, loosen the root ball and place in the centre of the pot. Fill the space around the root ball, ensuring the compost level covers all the roots. Firm lightly, water thoroughly and let drain.
For beds and borders: Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Position the plant and fill with 50% soil and 50% compost and firm around the base. Water thoroughly.

NOTE: We strongly recommend using Miracle-Gro Peat Free Premium Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron, Ericaceous Compost for acid loving plants like Azaleas, Rhododendrons and Heather.

Where to use: Ideal for all plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables. Works well for young plants and established plants. Perfect for use in beds, borders, hanging baskets, pots and containers.

Coverage: Fills 8 medium pots 22cm (9"); Fills 4 large pots 25cm (10"); Fills 1 large container 42cm (17"); Fills 6 hanging baskets 30cm (12").
