Wallflower Sugar Rush F1 Hybrid Seeds

Wallflower ‘Sugar Rush’ F1 Hybrid is an easy to grow, very hardy, ‘sow and forget’ variety. This fast growing and floriferous variety is one of the best wallflower varieties to emerge in the last decade. Being the first Wallflower to bloom in the autumn, overwinter and then again in the spring, ‘Sugar Rush’ produces dense, sweetly scented flower spikes in shades of cream, yellow, purple, and red, blooming just 10 weeks after sowing.

Tolerating both frost and warm conditions, this rewarding variety produces strong, robust, and bushy plants which, although technically are short-lived perennials, are optimally grown as hardy biennials. Ideal for cut flowers, ‘Sugar Rush’ is perfect for adding an abundance of vibrant colour to garden beds, borders, containers, and window displays. The young shoots of Wallflower ‘Dwarf Brilliant Bedder’ are edible and can be deliciously tender when cooked as a vegetable too.
