A new variety benefiting from some of the best qualities of Lavatera. A small mallow which has deep, rich pink flowers through summer and autumn. An eye catching and long flowering cottage garden plant.

Where?

In the middle of a border in full sun and well drained soil is best. This beautiful variety is also suited to a container or in a seaside garden and copes well with drought once established

How?

Water well after planting. Cut back hard in late spring each year to encourage new flowering stems.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
