Toothed Aloha

Very free flowering

This plant packs a sweetly scented punch from early summer until well into the autumn when it is covered in tiny, sugar pink flowers.

Where?

Beautiful at the front of a sunny border or in a container or hanging basket for summer and autumn colour.

How?

Easy to grow in well drained soil. Place some coarse grit or sand in the base of the planting hole if your soil is heavy and wet in winter. Use good quality potting compost for container growing and move the plant undercover through the winter months. water sparingly in winter and cut back old growth in spring when new leaves are spotted. Feed container plants each week through the growing season with a suitable liquid fertilizer.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
