Heuchera Paris PBR

Alum root, Coral bells

A ground cover plant with great foliage and flowers

A wonderful heuchera with the benefit of stunning foliage and showy flowers. The rounded, lobed leaves are soft green with silver veins and form a low, rounded clump. From early summer straight, dark red stems rise above the leaves carrying spires of tiny, deep pink bell-shaped flowers. These appear regularly throughout summer and make excellent cut flowers. Superb for all-year round foliage effect and colour in any garden.

Plant in full sun or semi-shade at the front of beds and borders, alongside paving or in gravel. Ideal for pots, containers, window boxes and hanging baskets.

Any well-drained fertile soil. Remove flower stems after flowering to show off leaves. Remove dead or damaged foliage in winter. Cut back fleshy short stems of old plants to rejuvenate.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
