Geranium Rozanne Gerwat

GardenAward
PollinatorAward

Border Cranesbill

Award winning variety

One of the best. This plant emerges from the ground in spring and makes sage green leaves on trailing stems. The saucer shaped sky blue flowers have a white centre which only adds to their beauty. They are produced for months in summer and autumn.

Where?

A beautiful plant to thread through the front of a border in sun or part shade.

How?

Easy to grow in most soil types. Remove old, dead leaves in spring before the new leaves appear.

Rozanne was awarded plant of the centenary to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea Flower show, it's also won Perennial Plant of the Year in 2008.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
