Euphorbia x martinii Ascot Rainbow

Spurge

Amazing variegated foliage

A handsome new form of Spurge that looks good all year round. Evergreen and upright in habit, with striking blue-green leaves edged creamy-white and tinted red and pink during the cooler months. Spikes of cream, lime and green flowers add to the overall appeal from late winter to spring.

Where?

A lovely addition to a sunny border or gravel garden, and looks superb in a patio container.

How?

Easy to grow in most garden soils but add coarse grit to the planting hole if your soil is heavy and wet in winter. Use good quality compost for container growing and raise the pot on 'pot feet' through the winter months to help with drainage.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
