Erysimum Apricot Twist

Perennial Wallflower

Beautiful scented flowers year after year

A gorgeous perennial Wallflower which will come back year after year. Brightly coloured flowers which have a sweet scent, are seen in late spring and early summer in clusters above neat mounds of fresh green leaves. Lovely in a border with Tulips or in a container on the patio where the scent can be enjoyed.

Happiest in a sunny position and well drained soil.

Add grit or sand to the soil when planting to help with drainage. Use John Innes No 3 potting compost if planting in a container and pot feet in winter to help with drainage. Remove faded flowers to encourage more.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
