Arenaria montana Blizzard

Mountain Daisy

Stunning alpine producing an abundance of white flowers

Price 1 Litre Pots £3.99 Each - 3 for £10

A low evergreen mound of grey-green leaves on upright stems, covered in a wonderful abundance of cup-shaped white flowers with striking yellow centres during early summer. It makes a striking impact when planted in groups.

It looks wonderful in containers, in the front edge of flower beds, and in rock and gravel gardens. Ideally place where it will enjoy a good a sunny spot or just a little shade.

It loves any moist free draining soil - water well until it is established but avoid an over watered location.

Planting instructions

Water the plant in its pot thoroughly before planting – give it a good soaking. Prepare the area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Dig compost into the base of the hole. Remove the pot and position the plant in the hole, with the top of the rootball about level with the surrounding soil. Refill the planting hole with a mixture of garden soil and compost, firming as you go. Water in well and keep well watered during the plant's first year.
