Nasturtium Purple Emperor Seeds

The Nasturtium Purple Emperor is a unique variety characterised by its intricate colouring; its blooms emerge a dark burgundy before fading to a dusky rose-pink, with deeper pink veins and splashes of yellow at their throats. With a spreading and trailing habit, it makes fantastic floral ground cover and will look amazing pouring over the edges of a patio pot or hanging planter.

Purple Emporer, sometimes known as Indian Cress, also has numerous culinary uses. Use its peppery leaves and colourful flowers on salads for a home-grown alternative to rocket, or pickle the seed pods to create what is known as 'poor man's capers'.
