How to plant your pot grown tree outside:

  1. Dig a hole the same depth as the pot, and twice as wide
  2. Loosen the soil in the bottom of the hole
  3. Leave the grow pot on the tree so that the root ball remains undisturbed
  4. Place the pot in the hole and backfill with a 50:50 mix of soil and multi-purpose compost
  5. Gently firm in place and water well
  6. Water generously in the first few years of establishment
