Recipe Lemon And Herb Chicken With Orzo LARGE
55 minutes - Serves 8 - Easy


  • 16 chicken thighs
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • 500g orzo pasta
  • Small bunch of parsley, chopped
  • Small bunch of tarragon, chopped

How to make: 

  • Heat oven to 200C/fan180C/gas6.
  • Put the whole chicken thighs in a large roasting tin.
  • Scatter over whole garlic cloves, squeeze over lemon wedges then tuck in around the chicken.
  • Season well then roast in a for 45-50 minutes until the skin is crisp and golden and the chicken cooked through. 
  • Cook the orzo according to the packet instructions and drain. 
  • Take the chicken out
of the tin, squeeze the garlic pulp into the juices and mix.
  • Tip the orzo into the tin with the chopped parsley and tarragon and mix well.
  • Serve the orzo and chicken on a large platter.
