The Real Flower Company

Meet The Real Flower Company

Born from a passion to bring scent back to cut flowers, The Real Flower Company was established in 1995 by founding director and flower farmer Rosebie Morton. Rosebie was frustrated that most cut flowers being sold did not have the scent she remembered so fondly from her childhood - currently most cut roses have been genetically modified to have their scent gene removed. Rosebie was determined to change this and started growing roses, as nature intended, in a corner of her mother-in-law's walled garden.

Today The Real Flower Company grows more than eighty varieties of beautifully scented cut roses, sweet peas, wild flowers and seasonal foliage in a way that ensures sustainability of wildlife and the environment. Their flower farm is based in the picturesque South Down's national park and every stem is thoughtfully hand-tended from soil to bouquet. As a result, they have proudly won a number of impressive awards from RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Vogue and Horticultural Week. From ‘grower of the year’ to ‘best for flowers’, it’s easy to see why The Real Flower Company are widely recognised for their high quality, luxury bouquets.
