How To Make A Wildflower Seed Packet

Make a wildflower seed packet with your little ones so they can sow these in the garden when in season. Follow the simple steps below.

 You'll need:

  • Pre-printed template on white paper.
  • Craft scissors.
  • Coloured pencils or pens.
  • Glue sticks.
  • Seeds in labelled bowls - we suggest Corncockle, Cornflower, Corn Chamomile, Common Puppy, Corn Marigold, Ox-eye Daisy, Ragged Robin, Scabious, Toadflax.

Now that you've got everything that you'll need, let's get started:

  1. Cut out seed packets from a sheet of A4 using this template.
  2. Colour in the picture on the front.
  3. Fold the template then stick together side and bottom tabs using glue stick. Leave big top flap unstuck.
  4. Select a pinch of seeds to add to your cup or bowl for all flowers you would like to include in your wildflower patch.
  5. Mix these together.
  6. Carefully pour seeds into your packet and fold the top flap in to seal the seed packet.
