The Dryopteris Filix-Mas is a low maintenance, semi-evergreen fern that makes a great addition to any garden. Sporting dense rosettes of erect foliage, its fronds form shuttlecock-like shields, earning it the nickname 'shield fern'.
The leaves of Filix-Mas turn a lush green with age, forming a stunning looking carpet. Plant it in cool, partially shaded sites and keep it moist for it to thrive.
