Streptocarpus Harlequin Lace or Cape primrose makes a superb houseplant - in fact, once you've grown one Cape primrose successfully you may well be hooked forever! The flowers have beautiful violet-blue lace patterns on the lower three lobes on a yellow background, whilst the upper lobes are a contrasting pale blue. The lovely deep green leaves are narrow and lance-shaped and form an attractive rosettte.
This variety flowers continuously; overall the proportions of the plant are very pleasing with compact leaves and medium length flower stalks. The plant will flower from early April to late October each year. Please note the white ceramic pot shown is for illustrative purposes only.
