Summer is on its way in the garden and it’s the perfect time to plant up...runner beans. Join in the start of the Garden Games and enter the Robbie Runner Beans competition to see who can grow the longest runner bean!

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be presented at the official judging later in the year, stay tuned for more details!

Plant up a Seedlings Club wheel barrow and take part in Dobbies Garden Games including hoola hoop challenge, potato sack and egg & spoon race. Funky gardening tools to be won!

Green fingered seedlings can find out how fun it is to grow your own windowsill salad and (hopefully in a few months!) end up with armfuls of tasty pickings that you can add to your lunchbox. All children will get to plant lettuce seeds to take home, watch grow and then eat!

Don’t forget to bring back your runner beans for judging

Come along to find out the importance of attracting butterflies, bees and bugs to your garden all year round. Children will go on a scent trail throughout the store and, will make funky Lavender bags to take away.
