Opened on the 15th March 2008, located on the eastern edge of the town, the highly visible 15 acre site occupies a rural position within Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council.
Set within beautifully landscaped grounds Dobbies Southport is an award winning garden centre. In November 2008 the store was awarded the prestigious Garden Retail Award for Best New Build and has been accredited by VisitBritain as a ‘Quality Assured Visitor Attraction’.
The new Garden World also houses an innovative visitor centre called The Greenhouse where adults and children alike can learn about sustainable lifestyles and the natural environment.
