Developing opportunities has been a virtue with Dobbies for over 140 years. From an old established business founded by James Dobbie in 1865 to a young public company embarking on an exciting stage of its development and becoming one of the leading Garden Centre Groups in the United Kingdom.
Following a management buy out in 1994 the company was floated on the Alternative Investment Market in 1997 and is now embarking on a rapid expansion plan to increase the portfolio to 100 stores in the next ten years.
Dobbies is incorporated in Scotland and operates throughout the UK.
