Sedum


Sedums are succulents which store water in their leaves.  They are hardy, evergreen plants.  Most will flower in summer and attract butterflies, ladybirds and other insects.

Wildflowers

Wildflowers can grow well on roofs and provide nectar for insects and seeds for wintering birds.

  • Cowslip (Primula veris)
  • Harebell (Campanula rotundifolia)
  • Thyme (Thymus)
  • Small scabious (Scabiosa columbaria)
