How to use the Brazier

Place the brazier on a flat level surface. The ash tray may become hot so you can protect your lawn or decking by placing bricks or concrete slabs underneath.

Make sure the brazier is steady and does not wobble.

Start the fire using balled newspaper or fire lighters and dry kindling. Place the logs or other fuel on when the kindling is burning.

Burnt fuel and ash will fall through into the collection tray. Do not attempt to empty this while the fire is burning, wait until it has gone out and the brazier has cooled down.

Although the brazier has been covered in a heat resistant paint this will burn off with use. The brazier will corrode but this does not affect the use of the brazier. The amount of corrosion will depend on the amount of use and whether the brazier is left out in all weather.

The rust and any loose flakes of paint can be removed by brushing it off with a wire brush. Once this is done the brazier can be re painted with a heat resistant paint.

To reduce corrosion, store the brazier inside when not in use to keep it out of the wet weather.

Important Safety Advice

The brazier is for outdoor use only, do not use indoors or under a porch or canopy. Do not use petrol or any other accelerant on the fire. The metal of the brazier will become very hot, avoid touching this as it will cause the skin to burn. Never leave the brazier unattended when burning or allow children near it without an adult present. The brazier should not be moved when burning or hot. Do not empty the ash tray until it has cooled down. Always place the brazier on a flat surface away from combustible materials. Do not use the brazier in windy conditions.
