CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• This furniture is supplied pre-treated with oils and a sealer, this can be cleaned using soapy water and a stiff brush. Untreated it will eventually mellow to an attractive soft silver grey. The time span for this will vary depending on weather conditions and it's location within the garden.
• Renovation can be carried out by cleaning with Alexander Rose Cleaner and lightly sanding, any lifting grain or cracks can be glued using a waterproof adhesive suitable for timber. Clamping may be necessary with excess glue being removed using a damp cloth. The area should be sanded once the glue is dry. To bring your furniture back to it's original appearance treat it with Alexander Rose Cleaner and Protector.
• Natural light affects the colour of both wood effect and real wood finish furniture. Regularly moving or turning furniture which sits in direct sunlight will help reduce discolouration and ageing.
• You should also avoid placing wooden furniture near fires, radiators and air conditioning units to prevent warping.
• It is strongly recommended that you store your furniture in a dry place in the winter. Alternatively, use a waterproof cover to prevent a build up of moss.
• Some wooden furniture has special finishes which require extra care and protection. Oiled furniture for example may become dry over time and will need reoiling to protect it.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and use only products that they recommend.
• All weather wicker or resin furniture can be simply wiped down by hand if a harder wash is not required.
• Cushions and parasols (where included) are not waterproof and should not be left outdoors in wet weather.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and use only products that they recommend.

FSC
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC brings people together to find solutions to the challenges around good forestry practices and to reward good forestry management.
FSC is dedicated to environmentally appropriate forest management ensuring that the harvest of timber ensures the forest’s biodiversity and ecology.
FSC also requires that socially beneficial forest management helps both local people and society at large to enjoy long term benefits and also provides strong incentives to local people to sustain the forest resources.
For FSC economically viable forest management means that forest operations are structured and managed so as to be sufficiently profitable, without generating financial profit at the expense of the forest resources, the ecosystem or affected communities.
