Open vial containing the ladybirds and release them directly onto plants with aphid colonies. Ideally release them when its cool, to avoid them immediately flying away.

Nothing eats more aphids than ladybirds. For rapid reduction of established aphid colonies, the native ladybird is an ideal biological control agent. Adult ladybirds and ladybird larvae are both voracious feeders on most types of aphids found in horticultural crops.
